With softer water, our facility could reduce wear and tear on laundry, showers, equipment, and cleaning systems, allowing us to stretch resources further and invest those savings back into programs that support youth, families, and seniors. Members would feel the benefits immediately: softer water for swim lessons and showers, and less irritation for those with sensitive skin. The YMCA is built on the idea that every improvement should serve the whole community. Jennifer nominated her sister-in-law and brother for a new Ecowater system because they love thier system, including their RO filtering system. We think their family would really benefit from a water purification system. They are currently going through a challenging time as a family. My sister-In-law who's only 41 was recently diagnosed with two types of breast cancer. She is fighting like hell and will be spending more time at home. I know to relax/de-stress she will need to take baths, and I believe Ecowater could be a wonderful part of softening the water so she feels great after baths. They have 2 young kids and are big water drinkers. Softening the hard water of LA County would really help them maintain a healthy lifestyle. Both my brother and sister-in-law work in non-profits and are big contributors to their community. My brother serves the children and families of the Beach City communities and my sister-in-law is an occupational therapist for a school in the Culver City unified school district. She works with kids of all backgrounds and some with special needs and learning differences. They are both extremely generous and love the communities they serve. They are selfless and I feel they would be a great candidate

Legacy is a homeschool ministry in San Marcos serving 350+ children per week. Having a water system would allow our children to have immediate, clean drinking water on campus at all times. Would allow them to use this clean drinking water in their cooking classes, to clean their fruits and vegetables, and in other classes that use water to operate. We look forward to offering our families this amazing resource.
